Types and dates of the most important periods of the semester

Enrolment (for new admissions) and registration (for all students): at least one week at the beginning of each semester, as defined in the academic calendar.

Subject registration and submission period: the subject registration period consists of two weeks at the beginning of the semester.

Late subject registration and submission period: means the period from the 3rd week to the 6th week of the semester, it takes four weeks each semester. During this period, a request for late subject registration and submission is required.

Study period: in general, it means 13 weeks per semester according to the academic calendar. This period includes the period of field practices (workshop weeks, study trips).

Examination period: follows the study period, usually from mid-December to the end of January in the autumn semester and from mid-May to mid-June in the spring semester. The examination period is usually 5 weeks.

Registration for the final exam: students wishing to take the final exam must register for the final exam via NEPTUN system. The specific deadline is determined by the academic calendar.

Deadline for thesis/dissertation submission: students wishing to take part the final examination must prepare and submit their thesis/dissertation by the deadline specified in the academic calendar.

Final examination period: this indicates the period during which the final examinations are organised for each part of the semester. The start and end dates of the final examination period are indicated in the academic calendar.

Period for raising objections: 14 days after the end of the examination period, during which students can submit an objection to their results or lack of results registered in NEPTUN system. Student raises his/her objection via NEPTUN system.
