Admission from Another Higher Educational Institution

Conditions for transfer:

A student with an active student status can be admitted from another higher educational institution if they:

  • are currently enrolled in a program of the same level and within the same field of study, or
  • do not meet the conditions for mandatory dismissal or exclusion (in the case of first-year students, the admission score of the relevant year may be taken into account).

Transfers can only be requested between programs of the same level, except from undivided programs to bachelor’s programs, or from bachelor’s and undivided programs to higher education vocational programs, provided that the student has earned at least 30 credits at their previous institution.

A student transferred from another higher education institution may continue their studies under state (partial) scholarship funding, if there is a vacant state-funded position in the given field of study and it has not been filled by other transfer applicants. In all other cases, the student continues their studies as a self-financed student. Additional conditions for transfer under state (partial) scholarship funding are that the student has not exhausted the support period defined in Section 47 (1) and (1a), and the program-specific support period under Section 47 (3) of Act CCIV of 2011 on National Higher Education.

Transfer fee, procedure, and deadlines:
